Well, this Yoga With The Chair program has you in mind.
In this beginners program, you will learn the foundational poses that will help to relieve stress, improve flexibility, mobility and strength. You do not need to be flexible or have any previous experience with yoga in order to take this program.
By the end of the program you will be well prepared to step into any yoga with the chair class (and even many mat classes) with confidence.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- All of the staple chair yoga poses from seated and standing
- Learn simple sequences and flows
- Ease stress & anxiety
- Gently improve strength, flexibility & mobility
- Reduce aches and pains, specifically in the back, hips, neck and shoulders
- Enhance your balance and stability
- How yoga postures can be a meditation to focus the mind
- And of course...how to have fun practicing yoga!
WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
This program is for everyBODY and experience level including those with limited mobility or injuries, office workers, seniors, beginners to yoga, experienced individuals looking to improve their practice... i.e., anyone with the desire to learn how to practice yoga in a way that suits their body best and makes them feel great!
If you are living with an underlying health condition, have limited mobility or an injury, many people often think that yoga is not accessible to them, which it absolutely can be! Yoga with the chair can be the perfect practice to help you gently develop strength, mobility, balance and stability.
Sarah will take you step-by-step through each of the poses, which will allow you to follow along without having to keep your eyes glued to the screen. You can practice at your own pace in the comfort of your home and you'll still get the feeling of being in the studio. You'll also find it's more time and cost effective than a regular class.

Hello everyone and thank you so much for being here! My name is Sarah and I'm the owner of MOVEHAPPY, Registered Kinesiologist and Yoga Teacher.
My passion is helping people feel amazing mentally and physically through the power of movement! My other superpower is making exercise and yoga inclusive, friendly (anti-intimidating) and doable for absolutely anyone.
Yoga with the chair is one of my favourite classes to teach. You can expect our classes to be gentle yet effective, relaxing and playful at times. I absolutely love helping people move in a way that makes their body feel good, to let go of all of the expectations and judgements we place on ourselves and to just have fun!
When I'm not teaching, you can find me going on walks with my husband, Alex and 3 pugs (Ernie, Jax & Chewie), curling up with a good book or practically doing anything outdoors.
