Meet the Founder of MOVEHAPPY

Exercise Specialist & Yoga Teacher

I’m Sarah, an Exercise Specialist with over a decade of experience in the fitness and health industry. I founded MOVEHAPPY with one mission in mind: to redefine how we approach fitness and movement. For too long, the focus has been on calorie counting and grueling workouts, but I wanted to create a space where movement is about more than "sculpting" your body—it’s about improving your health, boosting your strength and feeling truly good in your own skin.

With a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology from the University of the Fraser Valley, along with an undergraduate certificate in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the American College of Sports Medicine, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals of all backgrounds and abilities move safely, effectively and joyfully. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices but most importantly, it’s designed to make fitness fun, approachable and something you’ll want to stick with long term.

At MOVEHAPPY, we’re here to guide you toward a healthier, lasting relationship with exercise, where each session leaves you feeling empowered, confident and stronger.

I coach in a way that’s accessible, supportive, and body-positive, helping people find a fitness path that’s enjoyable and personally rewarding. My goal is to build functional strength and create lasting change in a simple, sustainable way for a healthier life.

I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from my health and well-being, and I've experienced a transformation that has helped me feel stronger, happier, and more fulfilled than ever before. While our journeys may be different, I understand the ups and downs that come with making lasting changes, and I'm here to be your enthusiastic cheerleader every step of the way

Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a Holistic Nutritionist with a passion for making healthy eating easy and delicious.

I’m obsessed with helping people create supportive nutrition habits that feel realistic, but also transformative. Using the skills I developed over years of  medical health coaching and nutrition consulting, combined with my passion for real food cooking, it’s my mission to help you find more energy, experience more confidence, and discover a balanced relationship with food and your body. I like to keep things simple- no unnecessary restriction, no fad diets, no body shame- just a flexible, supported approach to feeling good that starts with eating well.
